I only just got the DS today with Golden Compass included. It didn't come with any instructions how to play so I am winging it. I am at the very beginning and in the caves. I have gotten to a broken bridge. With Lyra on one side I sent Pen over as the Cat because Lyra couldn't jump it but can't figure out how to get Lyra across. The cat just keeps dying and Lyra falls down the cliff. Thanks

Im on the roof top chapher 1-2 can't get lyra to jump to roof getting sore hand doing this
You can dismiss Pan (X) and long jump ( double tap the direction you want to go and then press B). You can also use pan to look on the other side for swithches (activate them in ferrret form)
