I am stuck on chapter 5 I can't seem to knock out the monkey. I've been playing this level for ages and some help.

Pick up the blocks while in bird form drop them on the monkeys head to stun him change into feline form while hes stunned and attack him it takes about three times to do it
I have be doing this but still can not knock the monkey out please help
