Question for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Hey I'm playing as edmund and I'm trying to find the witches castle but I seem to be going round in circles round a lake and fighting bears constantly.. Can someone help me????

You will be in 'Beaver's River'. Look at the map and move to the edge of it, killing any enemies in your way. The next area is 'River'. I suggest purchasing good weapon and armour before the whole Edmund stage-it is before you complete the dungeons, as enemies are now stronger.
Move to the lined edge at the top and you'll be in 'Path to the Witch'. According to the map, move up the path to Red Dwarf Peak. Do NOT go left as there are too many goblins and you may lose all your health. Go right (using the map)and kill 2 goblins. Smash the Witch statue and climb the vine behind it (move up). Fight 3 ankleslicers at the barred cave entrance. Move left to the next Witch ice statue,smash it and climb the vine. (Watch out for slippery slopes which you slide down.)Fight 3 ankleslicers,smash the last statue and climb. As you slide down slope,get to the left edge and TAP the up key till you're @ the top.Simply leave area,go to Witch's Courtyard,fight 2 wolves & 3 boggles and speak to the Witch.
I hadn't had to fight any bears at all, though. I hope this helps.
