I have no idea how to get past the hopping mushrooms and flowers. Please help.

Thats really easy... All you have to do is watch the order that the mushrooms hop in... Like red blue purple red or whatever...then when you get to the flowers just hit the flowers in that order...like the red one first...
Anymore questions just ask.

It is really easy. So you know how the flowers in the first one hop in red, blue, purple. You just whack the flowers in that order. Then the next flowers hop in red, purple, blue, red. You just hit the next flowers in that order and same with the next order of flowers.
