Help please

On fall onto the caged island/whomp's fortress how do I fall on to the island

to fall into the cage u need to find the owl. the owl is in the tree at the begging area where u start.its in the tree with the coin above.u need to climb the tree on the owl will fly out complaining that u woke him up.once he is done the complaining jump at himand hold the B button once he reaches the top fly around a little so he lowers down some.make sure u fly around the cage island.once u see your shadow on the island u can drop down and get the star.
