Question for Super Mario 64 DS

I need help! I cannot figure out how to get the snowman's body back in the cool,cool world. How do I get his body?

His body is on top of the mountain. Talk to him and slide down the mountain, make sure his behind you or you might need to do this again like I have done many times. When you get near the end of when your slowing down, make sure you don't go to the lower platform or you do have to do it again (Because then he will still be rolling and go past you and disappear). To avoid this when your near the coin along the edge of the wall, you should be able to get up and run to the snowman's head. (I can't remember when you should be able to but this was the way how I completed it)
