After you collect 15 stars or more choose mario to play as and go to the very first room of the castle, the one with the staircase. There should be a white beam of light shining down from the ceiling. Press X and point the camera towards the ceiling in the direction of the white light.(again, make sure you are mario.). You will teleport to a level in the sky, and you will be flying because mario is wearing his wing hat. Fly to the center of the area and land on the tower. There is the switch! Hope I helped!
Just get stars until you see a light in the main of the castle zomm and look the light. You must to bump the switch to unlock it!
