I don't understand how to use a Power Flower, (what do the look like?

A Power Flower is basically the flowers that pop up out of the ? Boxes in the SNES verson of Mario. They can be found in the ? Boxes of just the plain old rock hard boxes. Power Flowers give your character's (Your character's Mario Yoshi etc,) powers like these.

Mario's Power Flower power: Makes mario a big blown up ballon, good for getting up high mountains or hard to reach stars and over big holes.

Yoshi's Power Flower power: Yeee ouch! Yoshi's got heart burn! Enables Yoshi to blow fire and kill enemys and melt ice.

Wario Power Flower power: Wario's machine and metal! Helps you walk on the bottom of seas or lakes and also makes it easier to get past slippery and windy places but beware it puts on extra weight.

Luigi's Power Flower power: Makes Luigi intangible like Danny Phamtom to where he can run through the mirror room to get to Wario's picture and makes him semie invisible.

Here are some of the places Power Flowers can be found.

Mirror Room after you get luigi and are his character.

On top of castle once you get 150 stars.

Bomb-Omb Battle Field (Must be Wario Yoshi or Luigi. Mario gets a feather)

Jolley Roger Bay.

Bowser's first fight level.

That's all I want to tell you. Note I'm not telling all of the Power Flower locations just examples.

Power flowers come mostly in red boxes but some times are on pillars{like in the mirror room}.All you have to do is jump {or walk}into them.They just look like yellow flowers with red petals.Hope I helped

In some stages you just bust open a box and instead of the feather(with Mario. Everyone else automatically gets it) you will get the Power Flower. The Power Flower(with Mario) lets you inflate like a balloon for a short amount of time.
