I have 130 stars and it's hard to get the rest..I need some tips on how to get 100 coins.

Piranna flowers give blue coins if you punch them.[dosen't work with yoshi]yakitus give 5 coins.[aslo dosen't work with yoshi]red coins are worth 2 coinsand blue coins are worth 5 coins. If have wario try to ground pounding the blue coin swiches.
