Hiya. Only use 1 gamepak. The person with the game in their DS selects VS and when it says waiting for opponents... The other person switches on their DS and goes to DS download play. Hope this helps

You only need one gamecard(Super Mario 64 DS game). One of you touch VS. Game. When it says waiting for opponets, the other one of you turn on your DS, go to the DS menu(not the DS game)and select DS download play. Your DS will download the Mario game. Then on the list with names, both of your names will be there. Touch where it tells you to start.
