My name is redxiii (red thirteen) and this is my first FAQ/walkthrough/answered question. first, some qualifications. I have completed the game with 150 stars and all minigames. That should be enough. now, to start.

Well, you haven't quite specified which room your in, so i'm gonna have to tell you where luigi and wario is.
first the lean, green, uh... brother of mario. ironically, your gonna have to be mario. from the front door of the castle, take the left or right door closest to the stairs.continue down the corridor chasing the big boo, or the little, regular boo. depends on how long you've been playing. now, you should find yourself in the courtyard. if you don't, use the door.now look in front of you. lotsa boos! which was the one we saw? dodging the small, annoying ones, work your way to the left side and smash the fattest ghost. he should drop a cage. if he doesn't, massacre every boo until one does. you can't kill boos if your yoshi. unfair, cos he's by far the best. now go in the cage, and find yourself in the boos mansion level, as i like to call it.
you start off looking at the huge, scary, house. creepy, but we're going in. through the front door, you'll see some patches of odd ground on the floor. these are originally steps to take you to the second floor, but this is enabled by killing all the ghosts in the house. besides, you're going to do a triple jump up to the landing directly in front of the funny floor.
now that we're up here, you should see two doors on the screen right. take the furthest one. you see the bookcase to the screen left, and as you run past it, you hear a boo laughing at you. you can wait for him to show if you want revenge. continuing past the bookcase, you'll find a landing. on it is our old friend, the ? block.
hit it to reveal a flower, which you must grab to enlarge your mass greatly. float to the roof, and you willsee a landing where the door you came from was, only below. float over there, then pound the ground to lose a few pounds.
through the door, we immediately see the portrait of luigi. going through this is dangerous, long, boring, and a little agrivating. oh well.
you land from the sky, on a turning platform with a sign in front of you. of course, there's the scary clown music. going right from the sign, you'll find a door, but there's a door in every corner! if you choose the wrong one, you'll be replaced back at the sign. through the door we see an eye, looking away. running across the delicate floor towards him, make a sharp left turn on to more delicate floor and through the next door.
you see another ? block, which is now no use to us. jumping to the middle and then to the right and through that door is helpful for finding luigi. now here it gets slow and annoying. jump on to the platform in front of you. it moves! must be a ghost. when you arrive at solid land once again, jump off and jump on to the next one. continue this until your at the last side, which you haven't yet visited. through the door in the last room you seek!
across the extra long bridge, you see a large painting of a boo. this isn't part of the key for luigi, but its a nice painting. to your left is a lift, which takes you to another lift, which takes you to another lift, which takes you to the next floor. now we see the classic hole in the floor. drop inside for the final battle.
you find yourself looking at an abnormally large mirror. nothing much in this room, so go for a run. run in circles, then run to the mirror. and then the biggest boo reveals himself in the mirror! of course he has a special power, so you can only kill him seeing him in the mirror. pretty simple battle, run to hit him from behind, run in circles avoiding him, repeat and get key. simple.
now go to the room with people and unlock luigi!
now, the mean, fat, yellow, purple... this guy has no taste! anyway, Wario!
you need to be luigi, our new mate. you also need 30 stars, to go through the door up the stairs. once through here, go up the spiral staircase, and into the room with many a painting. from here find the door that leads to the largest mirror in the game (i think so at least). you'll see a couple of flowers on the pillars, so grab one to become invisible. run at the mirror, and do a long jump to break it! just kidding, you only get to go through it. now, looking to your screen right, jump into the picture of wario.
this is an icy level, with no floor, so don't fall! start by going down the slope and into the abyss. whats this? we're being lifted by the wind! god loves us! anyway, fall dramatically onto the platform infront of you with the metalheads. these guys can push you off, so be careful.
across the tilting diamond platforms, there is another metalhead and a ski lift that goes sideways to your next destination. jump off to the right and jump down to the lovely lake in the distance. if you jump short, the wind will once again save you. you owe it big time!
anyway, jump out of the lake, cos otherwise you'll freeze. continue forward, past the gang of metalheads, and on to the moving platforms. don't rush yourself!
all the way across we see a mountain form before us. climb up it to find a huge hole in the ground. i mean HUGE! go on, jump in. what could happen?
you come face to face with cheif chilly! this battle isn't too hard, he charges at you, and tries to push you off. the easiest way to kill him is the old jump kick. hit him into the freezing breeze around the platform to attack him. do this a few times and victory is yours! oh, and so is the key to warios room. now you have all the characters! congratulations!

nintendofreek answered:

Okay basically, that last door is just a door to another star. To get the key you have to capture all the glowing rabbits. There's about 8 or 7 of them and once you get the last one, you'll get a key to that door.

That's just it. You didn't need that whole explanation.

ogjack30 answered:

The way to get the key is by catching 8 glowing white rabbits. My name is Jack and I only got 4 glowing rabbits so far. You will find the rabbits anywhere, but they will always replace a normal rabbit.

PorkyXYZ answered:

You have to earn the key to that door. You must catch 8 shining rabbits (they sparkle) seen a little further in the game. The rabbits are seen in different parts of the castle. The final rabbit will give you the key to this room.

Sadly, all I got was a star and whenever I go in it afterwards I get laughed at by Boos. There might be more to this door that I don't know about. I hope this information was helpful to you.

gamerkid29 answered:

Alright, you want to know hoe to get into that blank door next to Warios right? Well heres the answer.

After collecting a lot of those mini-game rabbitts, you might notice some silver rabbits. There are 8 of these rabbits that randomly take the place of other players rabbits. Catch all 8 and the last one will give you the key. Open that door for a surprise. ( I wont spoil it for you.)

SuperSatan4 answered:

The door with the white carpet? there is a power star in there. You get the key by catching the 8 glowing rabbits that, as far as everyone knows, appear randomly in the place of regular bunnies.
