I will tell you some because my time is running short here...

As Luigi, go to mirror room on the second floor, grab the flower on the stand, then run through the mirror and go through the door on the far side, the same door you came in only but that you are in its reflection.
Within it there is a completely white void with a star inside.

Get all of the Shining Rabbits, then go to the door with the white carpet in the room with the characters rooms in it.

In all of the stages where you have to find Bowser and fight him, there are 8 Red Coins and a Star Switch. And there is 3 of those Bowser worlds, right? So, that is 6 stars there.

Gotta go...
