How do I get the star behind chain-chomp's gate in the bob-omb battlefield?

There are two ways. First, you can do what you're supposed to do, and ground pound the stake that the chain chomp is stuck on until it's gone. The chain chomp will bounce around and break the gate. The other way, would be to use Luigi, and then get an invisibility flower, and just walk through it.

You see how the chain chomp is tethered to a wooden pole? Stand on top of the pole and do a ground pound until it's completely gone. Watch out though, because the chain chomp will attack you while you do it. Once it's completely in the ground the chain chomp will ram his had into the gate (breaking it) and you can jump and get the star.

Or you could use Luigi and get a power flower and walk right through it.

First go to the bom battle field.Then go up the ramp so you see the monster chomper.Then you see the monster chomper is tied on a wooden post then ground pound it three times then the monster chomper goes wild and then it knocks the gate down with the star in.Or you could be luigi and get a flower and walk through the gate.Hope this helps you!
