How do I beat the boss of thwomp castle?

The boss slate is like the little ones except for a few things. The little slates will start chasing you as soon as they spot you, but the boss slate will start chasing you automaticlly. Also the little slates go back and forth in a straight line, (except when they are chasing you,) and they also don't leave their designated area, but the boss slate can move all around the very top area and won't stop chasing you until he catches up with you and tries to belly flop on top of you like the little slates will if THEY catch up to you. Finally to break the little slates all you have to do is quickly dodge their ludacris belly flops, then do a ground pound, (press are in midair after jumping). There will be a big X in the middle of their backs, even though they stay down for about three seconds, you don't have to hit them right in the back, just make sure you hit him in the the back there are no other ways to break them, but the boss slate is a little, (or a lot I should say,) harder to dodge when it comes to belly flops, but he IS fable to break, and you can hit him anywhere on his back like the little slates, which is good news since he is ENORMOUS! However, he does have his disadvantages. With a little slate, you only need to ground pound them ONCE to break them, but with the boss slate, you need to ground pound him THREE wtimes to beat him. Yeah, I know, that's bad, but what's really bad is the joke he tells afterwards. I'll let you find that out for yourself. After you beat him, he will break, and the star will appear. I'm sorry this answer is sooooooooooooooooooooo long. I didn't want you to get mad at me for not giving you important information.
P.S. If you fall off of the very top part of the fortress while you are fighting the boss slate, you will have to start the fight, and the required amount of ground pounds over again. Sorry to finish the answer with bad news.
