Where are the 7 chaos emralds? I can't find them! Say what stage, and where in that stage please

Good Question
There scattered in each stage
There should be a spinner on each stage grab it and boost 4 a while and you're there

Look for spinning things that you grab onto and boost

go to the spinning thing in each sonic stage. There you can jump on them and press the boost button and hold and you will be transported to a special stage where you can try to win a chaos emerald
