Im trying to figure out how/if you are able to use the debug mode in Sonic classic collection for the nintendo DS. I know how to get level select but I don't know if you can get the debug. Is it possible to get debug without the action replay for sonic and knuckles? (The first sonic and knuckles only.)

Sonic 1 Debug is up,a,down,a,left,a,right,a y(hold) and press start if you want to turn into something press b to change press y and press b again to change back
