How Do I enable level select on sonic 2?

You can't on sonic 2 but the only one that works is up up up down down down up will make the name "tails" turn into "miles". However you can use levelselect on sonic 2 and knuckles by pressing up up up down down down left right left right .after that youshould hear a ring being collected(also known as a ring chime) letting you know you got it right after that press and hold Y and press start while holding Y
Yes you can by shaneman812 it hard on the dsi but if you do it on ds xl it will work or sega genisis
You can't do it for sonic 2 but you can do for Knuckles in Sonic 2 when you Knux just press up up up down down down left right left right and you should here the ring chime and then press start and Y then it should take you to the level select The Codes I know of are 16777216 that's for Super Knuckles/All the chaos emeralds and 19941018 that's for debug mode

Sonic 2 can be used for level select in the ds I know how to work it up up up down down down left right left right then a +start
