You need the EPG ( Egg Pattern Generator) to hack the FF, and here's how you get the EPG.



1st Device-Ask the man who owns a warehouse, and he says a guy named Sal tricked him. Run to Green Hill Zone, by the airport, to find Sal. Confront him in the meanest way to get the Shiny Stapler. Go to the warehouse and give the man his stapler to get the Antenna.


2nd Device-In Mystic Temple, head for the generator base. Shadow comes and knocks you over. Be nice so you don't fight him. Either way, he drops a piece of the EPG, which is the Controller.


3rd Device- In the same place, head to the airport. Use Big to go through the gas. Inside, the Robodillos that attack hold a fragment. Beat them for the Battery Set.


4th Device- A Swatbot in Central City has Fragment #4. Talk like Amy does to not fight it. It gives up the Micro Chip and starts a new life.


Last Device-In Green Hill Zone, there is a civillian who needs help. He asks you to repair the raised bridge. You get an Antidote and 250 EXP. Inside the Igneous Cave, 2 Scorpions are tormenting a boy. Beat them to regain the Cable Box. Head to Central City to return the boy home.



ForceField- With Knuckles or Amy in tow, head to the Limestone Cliff. Break the crates and ascend. At the peak, Laser Drones attack. Beat the Cables out of em and use the EPG. The FF's Laser Wall dissipates, and you can enter Eggman's Secret Lab. 3 2G Swatbots challenge you, allowing you to knock them into the Stratosphere. After battling, Eggman climbs the Elevator and talks about reforming.
