The easiest place to get to to get it is In carmite cave starting at the place where you defeat the first goblin. You can find it there and anywhere deeper in the cave. You will find a mixture of scrap iron, iron, bronze, and some silver. You can find it in other places too, but thats the easiest place.
You must get a hammer then check rocks with iron checker "thing" (you don't need to) and break the rocks note they have things coming out of them or they are or look movable
