i think you get these things through certain flowers that you plant, when you are in the shop looking at the seeds to buy, they have a short description about them. i distinctly remember on of them being the fireflower "sown in summer, takes a long time to grow, black seeds that look like gunpowder" that might be it? haven't tried it myself. hope i helped
