how do you get the axe,hammer,pet gloves, and etc

How do you get those items like the watering pot ( I already have it ) but ya those things can anyone tell me.

Simply by doing requests on the bulliten board....it even says in the handbook....then again not many people other than me read these things...

Don't know how helpful this is to you now, but here are some things you get by completing villagers' requests:

Axe-given by Tanya after you complete her 1st request
Hammer- Gordon will give this to you when you talk to him about his 1st request
Fishing rod-after you completed Barretts' 1st request
Pet Gloves- after you completed Cecilia's first request
Sickle-after you completed Jakes' 1st request
Clippers-after you completed Egans 1st request
Milker-after you completed Herman's request
Harvest Basket-after you comleted Rosalinds' 2nd request
Monster brush- after you completed Cecilias' 2nd request
