Question for Ratatouille

I am at 62%, I have to find 20 food items. I found the 1st 10, but it takes me to a room where there are steam pipes & electrical poles on the wall, but there is no food in this room. I found the key here but cannot get to the exit. I can see the exit, but cannot get up there. I am trying to balance on the pipe to get the star, & I think this may lead me to the exit, but I cannot get acroos the pipe. Can anyone tell me how to reach the exit from this room?? Thanks!!
