puzzle 62 tricky inheritance

Please please help just can't work this one out

Divide the big square into 4 smaller squares measuring 10x10.bottom left square is a. Bottom right sqaure is b.put the top section of a to the bottom section of b.this gives you 2 right angled triangles. Then all you need to do is measure these angles, 10x10/2 =50 add the total area of the remaimg 2 squares together which equals 20x10/2 =100 add both answers together for the solution. 50=100 = 150

look at the note upside down. Simple as that. I dunno why the other person is making it seem so complicated. just look at the numbers upside down.
