Question for Pokemon White 2

I just tried to use my AR DSi for my brand spanking new game, it reads the cart like normal, but when I go to start the game with or without a code on, an error comes up saying it can't access my save file.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know why this might be?

If you have not made a new game and saved yet then that is why you got that error.
