Question for Pokemon White

Right umm, I was reading on the internet about breding Pokemon in the day care and it said the two Pokemon has to be in the same egg group now I'm not realy sure what and egg group is. Is it like physic, electric, fire etc? Ps if the egg comes from to different breeds of Pokemon like for example tynamo and emolga will the hatched Pokemon be the same breed as the male.

Great question! Egg Groups are not based on a Pokemon's type. I don't really know if the egg would be what the male is. My advice: breed with a Ditto. This will resolve all confusion.

Hope this helps!

Guest answered:

Bulbapedia and Serebii list all the Pokemon in each egg group. The female determines what the egg will hatch into. A ditto can be bred with most everything, but you will never get an egg containing a ditto.

Guest answered:

The Egg Groups aren't the 12 types, they are totally different. The baby will be either the same as the female or a earlier form of the female. To avoid trouble, hatch with either a male Ditto and any female Pokemon, or two of the same species.

Hope this helped!!!!!
