I want s reshiram and my friends wont trade me one. Is there a way to catch one without cheating?

No, not really. If you are able to trade though, we have a Pokemon Trading Forum located on this site here. In this forum, people are giving away Reshiram. You could just ask for one there.

The GTS works too, however you would need to offer a rare or strong pokemon. It takes a bit of luck but it works.

What if you were to trade them your Zekrom as collateral so that you could just get Reshi added to your dex and then retrade them back?

I heard you can catch reshiram through regular game play OR trading, but some say it does not work, nor did for me... Buuuuut... It's worth a try, here's how: 1. Find the 7 sages (N and Ghetis are not part of it...) 2. Beat the elite 4 again and this time, you beat Alder 3. Scale (climb) DragonSpiral Tower 4. Catch reshiram (it should be lvl 100, and so I've heard) WARNING: like I said, this may not work!

There is no other way, I got a reshiram on GTS, but it was dificult, but I traded a lv.86 Tyranitar for it. I can always get another Tyranitar, but not Reshiram.
