Thundurus roams, so it's harder to catch than any other legendaries. Unless you want to save it to guaruntee you catch a shiny should you encounter one, you should go ahead and use your masterball on thundurus.
Honestly I think you should save your Masterball in case you run across a shiny Pokemon. Its easy enough to trap a roaming Pokemon. Just get a Pokemon with the ability Shadow Tag or has the moves Mean Look or Spider Web. That way you can throw all the Pokeballs, Greatballs and Ultraballs ect.. At it that you want. A Shiny Pokemon on the other hand is a lot harder to find and the last thing you wanna do is KO one by accident.
Did you use your master ball on zekrom if no then still no teach false swipe to a Pokemon and use an ultra ball I did it and it worked
WAIT go to route FIVE listen this works like I said before teach a Pokemon false swipe at 12 go to route five and it should be raining go into the grass and look for him when you hit him he will run away go into the green thing on the right look at the board for aout 15 secs and go outside then come in then go out again it should be raining again keep doing this
You know what? Thundurus is like Latios and Latias in Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire they're both roaming so, for you to easily catch IT use the masterball, anyways, catching a shiny Pokemon is more optional to use the masterball better if you catched a shiny thundurus
Well, Yes. It is the mascot of the game, and a harder PKMN to catch.
Use th masterball on thundrus since shiny Pokemon weren't too hard to catch in my game. Plus the odds of catching shiny Pokemon on the first try is usually 1/650 where as Thunderus and Tornadus is 1/890
I caught my Thundrus with a quick ball on route 8 I have all the legendaries and my masterball so it's not really neccessary.
I caught thundurus with my quick ball , I've got verizion cobalion terrakion with dusk ball . So my master ball is still 1 in my bag , I dunno want to catch who again
Just get action replay and make Poke'balls like masterball's then you wont have to woryy lol
Well I tried doing action replay codes but everytime I do it it frezes
EVERYONE READ THIS: Do not waste your masterball on Kyurem. Yesterday I caught him. I had a full party of Pokemon but all of them were fainted (because I didn't have any max repels to repel the wild Pokemon) I only had one that was alive but with half of it's HP, Zekrom. I decided to try and catch him but I thought of it as a wild shot. I realized that Kyurem would kill Zekrom in one shot, hence he was a lvl 75 dragon and Zekrom was only lvl 53. I through a dusk ball at Kyurem, WITH FULL HP and I caught him. I don't know how that happened but it must have been my lucky day. Since I still have my masterball I'm saving for a high lvl shiny Pokemon or Landorus. Hope this helps y'all.
Hey guys I have got a very easy way to catch Thundurus...in the morning he is at route 2, walk from striation city to this route till it begins to rain..you should find him in the grass then ...as soon as you encounter him just use toxic( Scolipede lvl 44 for example) !!
Now he is badly poisoned and flees...
The same procedure again...just walk in and out till it begins to rain..he is still poisoned when you meet Thundurus..so now use one or two attacks...he wont recover from your attacks but he keeps fleeing..gladly he will always be at route 2 in the morning and route 7 in the evening afaik..
Throw a Quick Ball or any other ball and you got him without Masterball...btw capturing with toxic works always !
I hope I could help you out
Cya guys, Cengo
Guys,DO NOT USE YOUR MASTER BALL ON THUNDURUS!!!!!!!I caught him by getting a Pokemon to use false swipe until he has 1 hp.then I make him go to sleep with hipnosis. Then the next time I saw him I just used a quick ball and voila I caught him.
Thank you 4 all your help!!! I will do my best to catch them! I will also NEVER trade them! Muhahahahaha!
Dont you dare use master ball to capture a thundurus try to save it for a shiny Pokemon/rare pokemon. Trust me atleast try to capture thundurus with someother ball.
Do NOT do what I did on my Pokemon white I was on the to floor of mistralton cave and just found Cobalion and got in a battle with it I went crazy and used my Aqua tail move and actcidentaly KOed it so you really don't have to use your master ball on zekrom or reshiram but I would use it on kyurum or the one I just used my master ball on vi
I just got zekroms health down and by complete fluke I threw one ultra ball and got him, then late I opened my mystery present thing which you have at your title page and got a level a hundred reshiram. I guess luck was with me.
You really don't need a Master Ball because all Pokemon in the game can be caught with any Poke ball. I know people who caught Fugia in Soul Silver with a regular Poke Ball.
No, I think you should keep a master ball for something a little harder like kyerem or cobalion.
I have caught all of them now and I used the masterball on thundurus, but reshiram/zekrom are easy to catch with any ball, I used poke ball, and I caught all of the other legendaries at night with duskballs, also lowered health using serperior leaf blade, simples
I Caught my Thundurus using a Quick Ball, Wow... You guys waste your Master Ball too fast!
