You will have two flying types if you keep those pokemon. That isn't too bad, but it isn't very good either.

Assuming you want to keep those four:
Gengar - Very fast, three immunities, high SpAtk
Tyranitar - Pseudo legendary like Dragonite.
Hitmonlee - With reckless, it's Hi Jump Kick is terrifyingly powerful. Do not pick if you evolve Poliwhirl into Poliwrath.
Nido(king/queen) - Huge range of attacks. Nidoking has higher attack/SpAtk but Nidoqueen is sturdier.
Alakazam - Fast and high SpAtk
Arbok - Because they are awesome. Can spread poison and paralysis.
Ampharos - Sturdy and high SpAtk, electric is a good attacking type to have.
Steelix - Insane defense. Giant iron snake.

If you don't want two flying types, then I would suggest replacing Pidgeot because Dragonite is much stronger. A Kangaskhan is a great option if you want to stick with a Normal-type, and with the pokewalker it can be found at any time rather easily.

When it comes down to it, it is entirely your choice. Experiment with different types and different strategies. I ignored Pokemon not found naturally in HGSS. If you are willing to trade, then you have two more generations of Pokemon to choose from.
