Question for Pokemon Soul Silver

I have a question. On mt. Silver my Pokemon keeps sencing something and they are being scared. What is it that they are sencing and why are they scared? If I trade an azear flute will an arceus appear or what?

I think it's because Mt.silver is where you battle the strongest trainer in the game, Red. Though I'm not postitive O_o. Im stuck on top of Mt.Silver and when I try to go to the cave entrane it just says TRAINER is paralyzed with fear O_O. Im like wot...
