I like Feraligatr, Ampharos, Magcargo, Espeon, Togekiss, and Heracross for Pokemon SoulSilver. I did very good with this Team throughout the game. Just make sure you give these Pokemon many various moves.

Use Meganium, Crobat, Lugia, Gengar, Golem, Shiny Gyarados(One you got From Lake of rage) Only teach them At least one HM except for Gyarados. Cut for meganuim, Fly for Crobat, Surf for Lugia, Rock smash for Golem, Strength for Gengar, And Whirlpool and Waterfall for Gyarados.
Hope it helps. Don't remove mean look and Hypnosis on Gengar

Use six fully evolved pokemon. Do not use multiple Pokemon of the same type. Train them well and make sure their movesets work with their typing and stats. There is no "best team," only good and great teams.

I used Typhlosion, Meganium, Feraligatr, Ampharos, Noctowl and Golem. You can also use Lugia if you want.

I used a Meganium, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Ninetales, Vaporeon, and a Kingdra.

They did fantastic. Though I had to try a couple of times.

I used a Typhlosion for the starter ; then my Ampharos is the special sweeper, I also have Dragonite, Lapras, Umbreon and Pidgeot. Don't put HM to your team as it will destroy movesets. Put HM in HM slaves like Sandslash and Chinchou Smile
