Go into Bill's PC and select Move Pokemon. Next, click on the Pokemon you want to release. A few options will come up, one will be to release your Pokemon.

If it's a good Pokemon I would but it in someones box/bills box then move Pokemon if you really don't want the Pokemon you can reasles it
