To be able to get Clair's phone number you are suppose to defeat her and Lance with your rival so how do you do that?

You first have to find him in the kanto regain than after you bet him he tells you hes going to train in the dragons dean wear you rebatel lance and calair (pleas excause spelling mistakes) hope this helps : )
