level up one of your pokemon to level 93, i used enti, go to islex forrest and go to the headbutt guy, hey will give u a map to get to hidden item behind the lake of rage,, i read this and it worked for me.....

after u have all 16 badges u have to beat red in mt.silver then after u beat red u talk to professor oak and he will let u pick charmander squirtle or bulbasuar

what i do is just keep on doing the pokemon league or facing red
i think after u face red, u can go to professor oak and he will let u choose between bulbasaur, charmander, or squirtle

There's lots to do left!!! Go to a walkthrough and in the table of contents, find sidequests or events. There are alot of pokemon you haven't seen and lots of adventures left.
