To evolve eevee into one of it's evolved forms what do you need for each one just to see if I can evolve it.

To have Eevee evolve into a Vaporeon you need to use the water stone on it.
To have Eevee evolve into a Jolteon you need to use the thunderstone on it.
To have Eevee evolve into a Flareon you need to use a fire stone on it.
To have Eevee evolve into an Espeon you need to level up an Eevee with high friendship between 4 a.m. and 8 p.m.
To have Eevee evolve into an Umbreon you have to level up an Eevee with high friendship between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
You are unable to get a Leafeon or Glaceon in Soul Silver because you would have to level up an Eevee in an area that is not available in Soul Silver.

You can evolve eevee with:
Water stone: Vaperon(Water, Fire in stone: Flareon(Fire), Thunder stone: Jolteon(Electric), Happines at day: Espeon(Psychic) and Happines during night: Umbreon(Dark).
If you have a platinum, diamond or pearl game, and you level up eevee in eterna forest, you get Leafeon(Grass) or on route 217: Glaceon(Ice)

Hmm... my knowledge of the Eevee evolution line is a bit rusty but I think I might be able to give you a right answer.
Vaporeon - This one's simple enough. All you have to do is find and use a water stone on it. As soon as you do use it on an Eevee, it will evolve into a Vaporeon; the water type of the Eevee evolution line.
Jolteon - This one is also pretty straight forward. All you have to do is find and use a thunder stone on it. As soon as you do use it on an Eevee, it will evolve into a Jolteon; the electric type of the Eevee evolution line.
Flareon - This is the last of the simple approaches of the evolutions. All you have to do to get this Pokemon is find and use a fire stone on it. As soon as you do use it on an Eevee, it will evolve into a Flareon; the fire type of the Eevee evolution line.
Espeon - As for this one, it's a bit trickier than the previous ones. You have to get its happiness up to a fairly high level before you have any hopes of obtaining this Pokemon. Once you have the Eevee's happiness up high enough, level it up during the daytime and it should evolve into an Espeon; the psychic type of the Eevee evolution line.
Umbreon - This one's just as tricky as the last one, seeing as it runs along the same lines. You have to get an Eevee's happiness up to a fairly high level before you can do much. Once it's up high enough, level it up during the night time and it should evolve into an Umbreon; the dark type of the Eevee evolution line.
Leafeon - This Pokemon, you can't evolve in the Soul Silver game. You can only trade it over from a previous game seeing as it has to level up in Eterna Forest.
Glaceon - This is the last that you can't evolve in the Soul Silver game, only get it traded from a copy of Platinum. This one has to be leveled up on Route 217 in the 4th gen game.
