I cant get a kanto starter pokemon

How do I get a kanto Pokemon, I have got all 16 badges is it helps

Hey there, I think I might have the answer you're looking for. If you have all 16 badges, then you're on the right track. That is only one of the two requirements you have to complete before being able to obtain the Kanto starter Pokemon. The other requirement is that you have to not only find but also beat a trainer named Red. If you don't know where he is, just look for a place called Mt.Silver. This trainer is a bit tough, using Pokemon in the level 80s range, so it might take a bit of doing before you're finally able to beat him.

After you beat that trainer, go seek out Professor Oak and talk to him. He should be in his lab located in Pallet town. If you've done everything right, he should complement you on your success and give you the option of choosing between any of the 3 Kanto starter Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle). They're all at level 5 so if you want some strong, evolved ones, it just means more work with them.

beating red is for getting the hoenn starters. if u beat red u can only get the hoenn starters from steven, the hoenn champ, from silph. co.

You have to defeat RED too and then go to professor oak RED is at the top of Mt. Silver.
