Drowzee Dude
Wondering if I go to the top of that big tower (that I had to stop to beat the game) and talk to the drowzee dude, and select "yes", will it corupt my current gameplay? After I complete that little thing, will I continue at the point when I talked to the drowzee dude? Will I have all of the Pokemon that I had before I talked to him? What does the field move "dark power" do?

The Drowzee Dude uses his Pokemon to send you back in time to when you captured Darkrai. Your Pokemon will be the ones you have now as well as your styler energy. You will continue at the point where you talked to the drowzee dude if you succeed. If you fail to re-capture Darkrai you will be sent to where you last saved. It won't corrupt your data. And finally the area move "dark power" takes control of the other pokemmon just like the dark shards. You can tell this by the 3 Darkrai shaped marks above the pokemon's head after he is used.
