Question for Pokemon Ranger

Hi I'm really stuck on the manaphy mission because I select it then me,proffesor hastings and some other people say sometings and then it ends. Im really stuck so could someone please try to awnser? And bye the way I don't use cheatcodes or anything like that and I can't think of why it will not work please help.

If you have already completed the game then you can only do the Manaphy mission once (I think). I on my second time completing the game I could not do the Manaphy mission again.

No, I havn't played the manaphy mission yet, but I did get the game preowned, but I don't think that file was completed either.
