I think you just push the B button on your ds to make it change gears. I'm just guessing.

Pearlfreak16 is right just hold B down to switch gears and they are 5 gears.

You aswered it wrong! There arn't that many gears. Sorry kiddo but there are only 2 gears. I restarted platinum and havn't played it in a while so sorry if you think I'm wrong but in fact... I'm %100 right.

No ACE_DeathPlayer it is you that are wrong there is in fact 4 gears and you do change gears by holding down B if you had to restart platinum then I suggest that you do it again and this time read what they are sayingACE_DeathPlayer answered:

It's funny to see how many people are saying that ACE_DeathPlayer is wrong and having my game open beside to try it. There is only two different speed so unless two gears go slow and the other two go fast, there is two gears. Go try it that's what I did before saying that je is wrong.

I was completely confused all of you are wrong you push a far fast gear,b for slow, and it only has two gears fast and slow or at least I think it has two but I know for a fact a is how you go fast not b.
