Question for Pokemon Platinum
I'm trying to breed Manaphy and Ditto to get Phione, but for some reason, the Daycare Man said that they don't seem to like each other and for some reason, it's taking forever waiting for the egg. What should I do? And why is this happening?

When the DayCare Man says, "The two don't like each other that much," they will still have an egg. However, the chances they have an egg is 20%. That is the lowest it can be besides 0%. With the 20% chance, it might take a while for them to have an egg.

If it says "they don't like each other much" it's probably that their levels are far apart from each other if you want them to like each other more then make their levels closer/the same (but it's not necessary they can make an egg if they don't like each other but it takes a little longer)
And since manaphy is legendary it takes awhile for them to make an egg so a good thing to do is use the daycare tracker app and walk/fly around to different cities/routes and if you do that for awhile you should eventually get an egg.(the egg will show up on the daycare tracker app)

They will still produce Eggs! Here is a guide!
The two prefer to play with other Pokemon than each other: Different breeding group, no eggs will be produced.
The two don't like each other much: They are different species, but have same breeding group, eggs will take a while to be produced.
The two seem to get along: Eggs will be produced
The two get along VERY well: Eggs will quickly be produced.

If the Day Care man's report for you on your Pokémon in the Day Care is "The two don't seem to like each other much", then the egg will take long to be produced.
