Question for Pokemon Platinum

Hello I was wondering there was people talking about Pokemon gba games and Pokemon platinum I was wondering is it possible to be able to trade Pokemon from Pokemon gba games to Pokemon platinum games?

That is called migration. You need a Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen version. With the GBA game in the GBA slot on your DS choose the "Migrate" option on the main menu. You cannot migrate any Pokemon that knows an HM. The migrated Pokemon are removed from the GBA game (this is permanent) and are put in the Pal Park.

Sort of. After beating the game, go to the Pal Park and, with your GBA game in the GBA slot of your DS Lite, head in. Just follow the directions they give you and you'll get your GBA Pokemon in your DS game.
