The only other ways to obtain Groudon in Pokemon Platinum besides trading is by an AR Code or by Migration (Pal Park).

Besides migrating from Ruby, you could also migrate a Groudon from Emerald or trade for one from a SoulSilver.

Migrate from any compatible GameBoy Advance GamePak other than Pokemon Ruby. To migrate, you must have a DS/DSLite. You can also trade, or use an Action Replay Code from here, or a Gameshark Code from here.
