Question for Pokemon Platinum

My daughter's toon is stuck in old chateu unable to fly out and when she tries cut on the trees it says she needs another bagde to do so. How can I get her toon out Idon't want to start her over she spent alot of time getting the stuff she has? She does't have a flying Pokemon with her and her dex is full.

I don't think your Daughter is stuck in the Old Chateau, but the Eterna Forest. If you go west of the trees that is blocking access to the Old Chateau, you will be able to get out of the Eterna Forest. Continue west and you'll soon be in Eterna City. After you defeat the Eterna City Gym Leader, you can use HM Cut outside of battle.

The only way that her Pokedex could be full but not have the second badge is by hacking the game. Also, the only way for her to get to the other side of the trees without using Cut is by hacking. If she is stuck she either needs to hack again and risk her save file or restart the game.

Chances are, she isn't in the Old Chateau, but rather lost in Eterna Forest. Also, if by "dex" you mean "party," then it seems like she is just turned around and her save file is safe. She just needs to explore the forest more. You do not need any HMs to get through the forest.
