If you want to catch it, use ultra balls. If you have a master ball, use that instead because it is hard to catch cresselia with just ultra balls and poisoning it. If you have a Pokemon that can have cresselia sleep, I think that would be better than poisoning it. You would have a better shot at it and then you can lower it's hp, until it gets into the red, and then try to catch it. I caught it while it was sleeping and it's hp was really low. Even though I used about 13 ultra balls, I was still able to catch it. I hope this helps!

You should catch something like a scyther which knows false swipe then keep using false swipe till it gets to 1 hp.
Then throw ultra balls.
