Question for Pokemon Platinum

I have chased mespirit to my home town but I can't catch it I had an almost similar problem execpt with azelf my Pokemon where to powerful what do I do

Since Azelf is level 50, go catch the same level near the island with the Battle Frontier. There is a body of water in Twinleaf Town, try to find him there. I had the same problem, but all I did to catch Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie was I traded three random Pok�mon to my cousin for three random Pok�mon of his, all three of them were holding Master Balls(R4i). I used the Master Balls on the trio. I did the same with Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia, too. I hope that I've helped. MaPoLe3591
