If you accidentally go into Distortion World,can you still get the HM Waterfall and how?

Exit Distortion World, go to Sunyshore and talk to the girl at the beach and she should give you HM8: Waterfall

You can't exit Distortion World. Well you can't if you saved the game in Distortion World.

The comment that says "Do steps 9-12 was for the long answer not the one that it is under.Guest answered:
Yes you can still get it. Here's how:
1. Follow the path. It will lead you to a puzzle. In the puzzle you have to free the legendary Pokemon of the lakes by pushing the boulders in the holes near them. Note: Don't do Mespirit first, do Uxie, then Mespirit, then do Azlef.
2. After you've completed the puzzle there will be a path where Cynthia was. Follow it.
3. Cyrus will be there. Battle him.
4. You must win to move on.(I don't know what happens if you lose)
5. Follow the next path after you've won.
6. Giratina is at the end of the path. Battle him.
7. Win.
8. You will find a portal leading back to Sinnoh. It leads to the entrance to Turnback Cave(You need the National Pokedex to go in. If you don't have it, Cynthia will be blocking it. To get it, Complete the Pokedex and talk to Professor Rowan.)
9. Fly to Veilstone City. To get fly you need the HM Fly(You get it in the Warehouse in Veilstone City), the 4th Gym badge, and a Pokemon that can learn fly. Teach fly to that Pokemon.
10. Follow the path leading to Sunyshore City.
11. Follow the path in Sunyshore City(Don't go up any stairs).
12. Talk to the girl at the end of Sunyshore City(Don't use Surf), and she will give you the HM Waterfall. You didn't need Waterfall in the Distortion World.

If you already did all this then just exit the Distortion World and do steps 9-12
