How do I get to the top of Mt. Coronet to fight Team Galactic if I don't have Waterfall?

You don't need Waterfall, and besides, you can't get it, or the Gym Badge required to use it, until after you defeat Team Galactic. Team Galactic are not up that way. Exit that cave and search the outside mountainside area for other caves (they're hard to see because of all the mist and snow. One of them will lead you in the right direction.

Right. And too, later, when you cleared the Spear Pillar event and collected the 8th badge, go to that exact place (the one with the waterfall) and go up. There'll be a cave. Enter, and inside it'll be an item and both orbs to call to fight and/or catch Palkia and Dialga.
