The cherrish ball?

Hey, I may sound like a noob, but what is the cherrish ball? I have never heard of it in Pokemon platinum. Is it a secret ball you need to earn or what. Thanks.

Volke answered:

From what I know, it's a PokeBall from the Gold/Silver/Crystal days which may have been featured in the GBA games but has yet to make an appearance in the DS games.

Patriot X answered:

Its a special ball in the DS series, (Platinum) As far as I know it doesn't have any special atributes, but I rarely use it because of it's poor catch rate.

ash2.9 answered:

The cherrish ball is a pokeball that you get from a nintendo event pokemon. The Pokemon will be in the Pokemon.

Juarez15 answered:

When you receive a Pokemon by a Pokemon event, the Pokemon is in a cherrish ball. You can't get the ball, only if you use a cheat device such as an action replay.
