How do you breed Pokemon???

Well, my Empoleon is a girl and I read that you can breed female Pokemon in the Day Care.
But it also says that in order to breed a female Pokemon, you have to pair it with a male Pokemon of the same type. An Empoleon is a water and steel type, and I don't know who to pair it with. I mean, should it be a steel and water type too, or just either one?
I have 3 questions...
1. What Pokemon should I pair with Empoleon and will they have an egg?
2. If I put it in the Day Care, will it lose some of it's moves?
3. How long do I need to wait for the egg?

Thanks to anyone who answers...
(Actually, I think I have 5 questions...)

When they say of the same type, they don't literally mean it's type as a Pokemon. Each Pokemon belongs to an Egg Group. If the two Pokemon are in the same Egg Group, they can have an Egg. Empoleon is in the "Water 1" and "Ground" Egg group. So, you can breed it with anything else in those groups. For example, you can breed with any form of Poliwag. If you follow that, they'll have an egg. It also helps if the two Pokemon have different I.D. Numbers, so try trading for a compatible pokemon. Depending on it's level, Empoleon may lose some moves due to the Day-Care people teaching it moves that it learns as it levels up and then overwriting old ones. However, you can always go to the Move Tutor and learn them back. As for how long it will take, it varies. If you have the Poketch app that allows you to see your Pokemon's progress in the Day-Care, it will show an egg if they have one.

And in addtion to what dragonx254 said if you have it at lvl 100 they can't teach it any moves so that should help a little bit
