Nothing. Cherish balls have the same effect of a poke ball, Low catch rate and nothing more. You aren't supposed to catch Pokemon with them, thus, They have no effect. The Only time a Pokemon should be in a cherish ball is if it was obtained through an event.

Nothing happens. Cherish Balls are obtained through cheat devices. They are the same in effect as a Poke Ball, only different name and I think the colour's different too. They have as low of a catch rate as a Poke Ball. These Balls should only be used if the targeted Pokemon is from an event. Shaymin is from an event so you may - or have done a good job of - catch(ing) Shaymin with it.
