Pokemon obtained through cheat codes
Some of the Pokemon I have obtained through cheat codes are not showing up in my pokedex. I do have the National Dex. I have the Pokemon either in my party or in a PC box, yet certain Pokemon I got through cheats are still not shown in my pokedex. Does anyone know why this is or what to do about it?

When you use codes to make Pokemon appear in your party or boxes, the game does not register them as having been caught. Thus, the data is not registered in the pokedex. If you want the data but you still want legit looking Pokemon, use the wild Pokemon modifier anda catch the Pokemon you want registered. Then go to a Pokemon center and release the Pokemon you just went out and caught.

If you use cheats that make them automatically appear in a certain spot, they won't register. If you want them in your Pokedex, you need to trade them with a friend and trade them back. Or use a wild Pokemon modifier.

Fastest way to register them is to put them in gts with a bad offer and then take them back. It worked for me
